Drawing 2 Introduction - What I Want To Get Out Of This Course.
Introduction - About me and this course
Hello and welcome to my blog for Drawing two!
I am looking forward to get stuck into this course and look at drawing indepth.
Over the last 3/4 years I have done Illustration 1 and 2. I am at a point now where I know my main peorsonal voice and what I want to share with the world. I have been using paper as a meduim to create 3D illustrations and art here is a link below to see my portfolio:

I also run a business called Paper Pawtraits where I create peoples pets 3D out of paper , stationery, wall art and much more. My work is worldwide places such as USA, Australia, Hong Kong and Europe having now done over 500 Pet portraits! I have come such a long way and work very hard to keep on improving. What I want to get out of this course
As well as creating pets I also want to showcase my voice through art. The last two courses have helped me do this and I am confident in my direction I am going.
I thought I would be honest and open up here at the start of the course to hopefully see my work evolve and grab back my drawing skills.
I always use to draw an aulful lot! Even if it was a quick doodle. I would always draw from my mind. The last 3 years I have discovered working with paper was my thing but over time I realised this has slowed my drawing practicing skills and I can see the quality of my skills has declined. I know deep down I have not done enough drawing but because I have had so much success with paper I have concentrated on this a lot. I do drawings for when I am planning my next paper work or design but I am missing the habbit of drawing every day and doing a drawing journal. I want to get this back and my confidence to help with my creativity.
Now I have done the two courses of illustraion I feel this course has come at the right time to practice and enhance my drawing skills. The very first course I did was in 2014! which was Drawing one. I had a look back at my old work and I can see how much I have improved in a creative thinking way and also the quality of my work. But I feel this was the last time I really concentrated on my drawing techniques.
I have looked at Drawing two and I think this is going to be great for me because not only does it help my drawing skills it also helps to re-look at things you look at and use your creativity to break it down and make something different. I am looking forward to seeing how this is going to help me and enhance my work/style further.
